Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is carefully designed, identifying the starting points of our children and where we would like our ‘ideal’ end of Stramongate learner to be, giving us 7 years to progressively build towards our end points. We use the ambitious and challenging National Curriculum as our base and our Subject Leaders set out the clearly sequenced subject progressions aiming to create a vocabulary rich, personalised and enriching curriculum in which all our children thrive. All children will progress through the broad curriculum-cumulatively knowing and remembering more. Stramongate is committed to provide enriching learning experiences beyond the classroom to raise motivation, curiosity and further develop speech and language. Children’s wellbeing is also a vital strand in helping secure children who are well rounded, emotionally resilient, future citizens.
